Surfing Safari Itinerary

Day 1 - Join the cruise and visit North Male’ Atoll

Welcome on board the dhoni at the Airport. After settling into your cabins, the captain or one of our crew member will go through all the safety aspect of the tour. Cruising time from Airport to reach to 3 famous world-class breaks will take about an hour. On the way we can check for 2 more waves that you can surf if the swell is big. A right-hander called Tombstone, just breaking off the reef of an island Resort. And a very heavy right-hander just 5 minutes away from Tombstone called Kandu Oi Giri (Shallow reef – To be ridden by professionals only). 30 minutes from these 2 breaks you arrive at Jails, a long 100 meter fast right-hander with two peaks breaking on the reef of Himmafushi Island and just 3 minutes away from the break a left hander called Honkeys with 3 sections breaking off the island called Thanburudhoo. On the other side of the island the famous Sultans a mellow right-hander which has 3 peaks and some days all gets connected and it’s a long ride. You can choose which ever break is best to surf depending on the condition. Night anchor in Himmafushi lagoon at evening before sunsets. Overnight Accommodation on Boat Included meals: Lunch, Dinner.

Day 2 - Amazing surfs at Jails, Honkeys, Sultans, Ninjas, Cokes and Chickens

Set to travel just before sunrise to check the surf and try to beat the crowd, as it will take about 20 minutes from Himmafushi lagoon to get to the 3 surf breaks. Have a good session before breakfast. Start cruising north while having breakfast and in 30 minutes you will reach a right-hander called Ninjas breaking off an island resort (preferred by beginners and long boarders). Cruise North for about 30 minutes and come across the famous Cokes, a right-hander which is breaking off at Thulusdhoo Island reef. Cokes get the biggest swell of this area and is a heavy barreling wave when its big (to be ridden by professionals when its big). Just across the channel, 5 minutes away is the longest left-hander of North Male’ atoll the famous Chicken surf break which breaks on the reef at Kuda Vilingili Island. Boat can be anchored in the middle of the channel and you can choose either break to surf. Night anchor at Kuda Vilingili lagoon before sunset. Overnight Accommodation on Boat. Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 3 - Surf at Cokes and Chickens. Farewell Dinner

Try and beat the crowds and get to the surf around sunrise. Surf until late afternoon and cruise back to Hulhumale’. Once anchored Hulhumale’ lagoon, there will be an optional Male’ city walking tour available for those who perhaps would like to stretch their legs. This night our crewmembers will prepare a very special Maldivian local dinner for your farewell. Night anchor at Hulhumale’ Overnight Accommodation on Boat Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
